A little about me

I'm Ibrahim Olalere, a Front-end focused UX Engineer based in Berlin, where I bridge the gap between design and frontend development. My work focuses on building intuitive, accessible web applications — turning designs into clean, functional code that puts users first.

I recently graduated from CODE University with a degree in Interaction Design, where my thesis explored user perception of conversational AI — a reflection of my broader interest in how people interact with technology. My professional background includes UI engineering roles at Axel Springer, where I contributed to projects reaching over a million users, built and maintained design systems, and collaborated across product and engineering teams in Agile environments.

I believe the best digital experiences come from a strong foundation in both design thinking and technical execution. I'm skilled in React, JavaScript, and modern frontend practices, and I leverage AI-assisted tools to prototype and ship efficiently without compromising quality.

Outside of work, I write, follow football, and stay engaged with politics.

Let's get personal … About me

Born in Nigeria and now based in Berlin, I’m a curious and creative designer with a growth mindset. With a background in media and interaction design, I explore the intersection of storytelling, technology, and user experience. I enjoy working on projects that challenge me to learn, adapt, and collaborate. Outside of work, you’ll find me sketching ideas, reading about culture and psychology, or exploring cities through architecture and design.

I thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineers, product managers, and researchers to build scalable, intuitive, and engaging digital products. Currently, I focus on designing seamless experiences and shaping product visions that drive both user satisfaction and business growth.

Here are earlier works that didn’t make it into my main portfolio but still reflect parts of my design journey, which I’ve chosen to share on Behance.
